Dickey Starnes from McKinney drove this #50 in the the Dallas area. Dickey was one of the proven veterans in the Dallas area. Winning track championships at several tracks in north central Texas in the late 60's and early 70's.

Boadie Lanier from Dallas drove this #15. From old programs it appears that Boadie ran in the top 10 at Devils Bowl in the 75,76,77 season.

Marvin Filip from San Angelo, TX drove this to track championships at San Angelo, Odessa, Abilene, and was runner-up at Austin in 1962.
Mike informs us that this car is still owned by Marvin.

Another one from the early 60's. It's Doran Raine from Wichita. Doran moved to Iowa Park, TX in the 60's and continued racing at Wichita Falls TX & Lawton, OK in the modified class. He was a regular on the NCRA Modified Circuit in the middle 70's. He continued racing into the early 80's.

Back in the 60's Johnny Suggs was known as the Arkansas Traveler. Johnny made several trips to the Kansas City area to race and win a few. This was taken at Olympic Stadium in Kansas City.

Action from Devils Bowl in 78 or 79. Body Cody in the #43 from Amarillo, TX leads either Eldon Dotson or Jimmy Allard in another #43. Jimmy and Eldon were both from the Dallas Ft Worth area.
